I loved how this sea turtle seems both confrontational and curious. I doubled down on the movement through splashes and bursts of abstract colors as the background. 

This was sold to a private collector in Illinois in 2019, an executive who fittingly renamed the piece "Boss Turtle" based on what appealed to him about the subject.
